Pure honey is a natural and unadulterated product that undergoes a gentle filtration process. It's free from any added sweeteners, oils or flavours, which allows its unique and delicious taste to shine through.

Honey gets its flavour from nature, from the pollen in the local flowers and plants that the bees forage on. This means you can get many types of pure honey; wild blossom's, fynbos, citrus, peach etc.

Each specific honey will be unique and will depend on the environment the flowers (and bees) have had to thrive in. A bit like wine, a blossom honey from Knysna or Cape Town will taste entirely different from blossoms in England, and preference comes down to a matter of individual taste.

Our passion for honey started in 1998 when we experimented with making traditional honey Mead. We wanted to make a liqueur using the purest raw honey and quickly discovered that not all kinds of honey are equal.

 

We travelled to the hives and tasted many different types. Satisfied with only the best, we started producing our first liqueur. Eden Honey, Made in Knysna was born. Today we make a range of honey liqueurs infused with Orange, Peach Apricot, Ginger and Cinnamon.
